For some, the term “discipleship,” has become so familiar, it has lost any tangible meaning. For others, it vaguely reminds them of church and Christians, and still others have no frame of reference for the word, its use residing nearly exclusively within the four walls of the ever-shrinking North American church population. However, discipleship could not have been more clear for Jesus’ own peers, being the primary method of education in his culture and time. During this series, we aim to discover more of that ancient clarity to shed light on our current attempt to follow Jesus. As we open up more of our lives to Jesus and His Spirit, he will transform us, and lead us into a lifelong journey of training under Him.
