The Kingdom Come

“Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.”

What is Who Are Kingdom Builders?

Kingdom Builders is not a “what“, but a “who“. Kingdom Builders are individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes, to reach people near and far. They carry the heart of helping people all over the world find and follow Jesus through global missions, local church growth, and training the next generation of Christian leaders.

Why use Kingdom Builders?

Kingdom Builder acts as a “missions mutual fund.” The heart of Kingdom Builders is people: helping the hurting, the poor, and the forgotten. The “mutual fund” principle guarantees that our monthly supported missionaries have the financial resources to do ministry and allows C2 to partner with other organizations on a project basis.

What is my impact?

Every financial gift given to Kingdom Builders helps resource missionaries all over the world. We hear stories every month about how Kingdom Builder funding provides the means to rescue women and children out of human slavery, build homes for the impoverished, train indigenous pastors to plant churches, and more! C2 Church partners with local organizations like treatment programs for individuals battling substance abuse and creates training opportunities for the next generation to gain active ministry experience.

Q: What is Kingdom Builders?

Actually, Kingdom Builders is more about who. Kingdom Builders is a group of fully committed individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes, to this yearly missional strategy to reach people near and far. This includes supporting missionaries and ministries both local and global.

Q: Why did we start Kingdom Builders?

As lead pastor, I became frustrated over the years with how we as a church have struggled in how we funded the global mission of God here at home and around the world. I struggled to figure out how to support missionaries around the world, community projects, church expansion and improvement projects, church planting, and missionary projects all through out the year.

God brought an idea through a mentor of mine. He referred to it as a “missions mutual fund”, with the idea that each missionary, ministry and project was part of God’s global, kingdom mission and each dollar was an investment with an eternal return and reward. The heart of Kingdom Builders is people. We give, go, pray and send “so all can hear” the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Kingdom Builders will incorporate what was formerly known as Missions Faith Promises, The Circle Fund, and building fund offerings along with any special offerings we typically have taken (Easter, Christmas, BGMC, missions project, etc.) While we may still do these special offerings, it will be for the projects we have already committed to through Kingdom Builders and all funds will go to meeting the entire goal. This allows us to set the goal at the beginning of each year and allows individuals and families to budget and believe in faith to give throughout the year.

Q: Where will the money from Kingdom Builders go?

Kingdom Builders is all about people, not projects. Although we support projects, it is “SO ALL MAY HEAR.”   At the beginning of each year, our leadership team prayerfully considers each person and project we will support. Our strategic priorities will be our filter for what we commit to as a church. Each year will we present our vision and goal for the year with the people and projects we feel God is leading us to support. We have three priorities for Kingdom Builders:

    • Global Missions
Kingdom Builders supports missionaries and ministries taking the Gospel all around the world as well as support key missions projects. We are committed to over 45 global and local missionaries and ministries.
    • Local Church Expansion
Kingdom Builders is committed to funding the growth of the church locally through expanding our own campus, planting life-giving, Spirit-filled churches in our communities, and ministering to the hurting in our own backyards by making space for those not yet here to personally know a loving, heavenly father.
    • Next Generation Investment
Kingdom Builders raises up future leaders to foster a love for God, the Bible, and the lost and inspire them to change the world by partnering with ministries that care for physical and spiritual needs of the next generation from birth through those beginning their career.

Q:What if I have designated money to a specific missionary in the past?

You may continue to designate that money. Our Kingdom Builders budget includes the total monthly support we have committed to missionaries including individual designations.

Q: When will each project be funded?

Other than our committed monthly missionary support, most projects and initiatives will be funded at the end of the calendar year (December 31st). Based on the total given for that year, we will determine what each project will receive. We believe that if everyone does their part by faith and obedience, we will not have to choose which project or reduce our commitment.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to email info@c2church.com and a staff member will respond as soon as they can.
