Summer at C2 is here!

Our goal at C2 Church for summer 2022 is to do it together! What does that even mean? Well, it means that we have intentionally planned events and groups to promote unity and community. Here is a snapshot of what we are looking at over the Summer @C2 Church:

Summer Outdoor Sundays!

Get outside and enjoy the sunshine with us during our Summer Outside Sundays! The goal of these services is to get outside of our comfort zones and dive into worship and community in a new way! Service will be held on the CCA parking lot starting at 10AM.

May 29th | July 3 | August 21

Family Fun Nights

In lieu of VBS, we are having 3 Family Fun Nights! At C2, we believe that ministry starts at home with the family. We invite you to come and join us for these family-centered events where parents get to come and dive into scripture with their kids.  With each week having a different theme, every Fun Night will be filled with surprises and events and snacks to boot!

June 12 | July 10 | August 14

Summer of Shenanigans

The focus of our summer season at C2 Youth is to build lasting and encouraging relationships within a Christ Centered community. We have a lot of fun at Youth, and over the summer months our nights look a little different than during the school year. You can expect to be a part of a team and compete together in a number of diverse activities; there will be some nights that you may get sweaty, or wet from some water games. We encourage our students to participate by celebrating their teams and one another, and supporting missions projects by giving generously to take the message of Jesus to the ends of the Earth!

6-12 Grades | Starting June 1

Summer Book Groups

Interested in reading more this summer? Why not do it with some friends? Choose from three different books offered, and read along with others, meeting briefly on a weekly basis to talk about your thoughts on what you’ve read. Grab some friends, register for a book (FOR FREE), and start reading!
Studies run from July to August

Blind Spots
by Colin Hansen

The world needs bold, united followers of Jesus. It needs you and me to understand and appreciate the contributions of our brothers and sisters in faith. However, too often, our blind spots lead to divisions and disagreements, preventing God’s people from testifying to his grace with one voice. In this provocative book, Collin Hansen helps us view our differences as opportunities to more effectively engage a needy world with the love of Christ. Highlighting the diversity of thought, experience, and personality that God has given to his people, Blind Spots lays the foundation for a new generation of Christians eager to cultivate a courageous, compassionate, and commissioned church.

The Church That Never Sleeps
by Matthew Barnett

As a boy, the preacher’s son had a dream: a church that remained open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This church would serve the inner city’s human and spiritual needs, bringing a message of hope to the seemingly hopeless. L.A. International Church, known as the Dream Center, is the fulfillment of Matthew Barnett’s dream. The Church That Never Sleeps is an inspiring story that shows:
• To reach your community you have to put yourself in other people’s world.
• Trouble helps build a great church.
• A church grows by loving one person at a time.
• With God’s love, no problem is insurmountable.

The Sacred Chase
by Heath Adamson

There is nothing more important in this life or the one to come than an intimate connection with Jesus. Unfortunately, we have thousands of voices distracting us, and all too often we listen to them. We confuse proximity to God with intimacy with God and are content with a Christian-branded life yet miss out on what we were created for: knowing God intimately. This book is for anyone who longs for a deeper connection to God, who has felt far from peace and hope, and who needs the assurance that God is both interested in who they are and accepts them.
